Pride of Northeast PA is looking for members who would like to showcase their artistic talents at Pride Place. Artists of all kinds have decorated Pride Place during the past year, and we need your help for 2008.
Each artist will display their artwork for one month and has the distinct opportunity to be present for Third Friday Artwalk, where the Stegmaier Mansion/Arts YOUniverse is open to a vast number of visitors. If interested, please contact bod@prideofnepa.org

Come on Down to Rainbow Mountain

Our Spring TG/CD Weekend, May 16-18  Afraid this weekend is sold-out, but there are usually several last-minute cancellations.  So, please call 570-223-8484, if you would like to be placed on a waiting list.  Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception on Friday afternoon and Fire Island comic-in-residence Brad Loekle joins us (you may have recently caught him narrating on truTV's The Smoking Gun Presents) on Friday evening.  Lisa has several outings in mind (gambling, horseback riding, bowling, anyone?), so be prepared.  Of course, we'll have a clothing swap and a Saturday evening photo-op prior to our Runway Contest - so the theme is high couture.  Karen from FemmeFever will be in attendance and available for makeovers.  If the weather allows, we're planning a Saturday afternoon poolside party (think one-piece bathing suits and big, floppy hats).

Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-26.  We kick it off with Volleyball in the Dance Club on Friday (a non-competitive, two-person team, single-elimination format).  Saturday is the first full day poolside, and you're allowed to veg away that seasonal depression (of course, while you're vegging, don't forget to check out the hotties and don't forget to join Jayson for Pool Games).  Saturday evening, it's a Blackout Party and Palest Body Contest (to celebrate the start of summer).  Sunday, we are delighted and proud to announce the return of world-traveling drag performer Sherry Vine.  Her show is all-live and all-new.  Did we mention?  THE POOL IS OPEN!

Extreme Weekend, May 30-June 1, rounds out the month.  Our whitewater rafting experiment last fall was so enjoyable, that we're doing another road trip.  But first, on Friday evening, ComedyCentral diva and self-proclaimed high priestess of all things fashionable and trendy Sherry Davey returns.  Saturday morning, after an early breakfast, we car caravan to nearby Dorney Amusement and Water Park in Allentown, PA.

June 6-8:  Men's Weekend with NYC gay comic Shawn Hollenbach on Friday and Adult Film Newcomer Jonathan Vargas on Saturday.  Hospitality Suite/Hot Tub/Sauna, 24/7.
June 13-15:  Track and Field Weekend.  We divide you into teams at check-in for a weekend full of healthy, semi-competitive competition (timed swimming in the pool would be competitive; inner tube races, not so competitive).  Camp fire on Friday night, Wet T's and Undies Contest on Saturday, towel-snapping all weekend.
June 20-22:  Summer Customer Appreciation Weekend.  Warm weather, pool's open, discount rates.  Could it get any better?  Well, yes!  Add tickets to nearby Shawnee Playhouse's production of Fame on Friday and a Balloon Drop in the nightclub on Saturday.
June 27-29:  Miss Heaven Leigh's Annual Birthday Weekend featuring her birthday drag show, "Barely Tales" - your favorite childhood heroines as you've NEVER seen them.  Nobody puts on a show like Heaven  Last weekend before the summer rates kick in.
July 3-6:  July Fourth Weekend.  Poolside Karaoke on Thursday, Mind Gaymes with Bob Lawson (America's only gay mind reading show) on Friday, and a Steamroom Party (think hot boys and girls in towels) and Best Abs Contest on Saturday.
July 11-13:  Be An Adult Film Star (or just party with one) Weekend.  BuffStuff Video returns to shoot an all-male adult film on property, and you're welcome on the set!  And the boys will be dancing in the nightclub on Friday and Saturday.
July 18-20:  NYC gay comic and ukulele-player Ben Lerman on Friday, Full Moon Party and Best Buns Contest on Saturday.
July 25-27:  Pittsburgh's premiere drag performer Kierra Darshall on Friday, Christmas in July with Giveaways on Saturday.
August 1-3:  Regina Sayles on the Big Stage on Friday, Underwear Party on Saturday.
August 8-10:  NYC gay comic Brad Loekle on Friday, Gods and Goddesses Party and Best Torso contest on Saturday
August 15-17:  Miss Olivia's Annual FACT Benefit Drag Show on Friday, Full Moon Party and Best Legs Contest on Saturday
August 22-24:  ComedyCentral's Vanessa Hollingshead on Friday, Guest DJ David Petrilla on Saturday.
August 29 - September 1:  Labor Day Weekend.  Luau Party and Best Tan Line Contest (to celebrate the end of summer) on Saturday; another, brand-new, all-live show featuring the two and only Carol Ann and Heaven Leigh on Sunday!

Call 570-223-8484 for additional information and reservations.

Hope to see you soon,

Dear Participant,

feelings, and experiences associated with being a gay, bisexual, or
questioning man. If you are a man who is at least 18 years old and has
experienced same-sex attraction, I would greatly appreciate your

three randomly selected participants. For those interested in
participating in this study, click on the following hypertext link (or cut

advance for your help with this project!
Sincerely,
